Day 1 L, D

Home - Parkes
Depart Thornton with pickups through Newcastle and the Central Coast before stopping for morning tea at Mt Wilberforce. Our Queensland friends will join us here before our journey takes us into the Blue Mountains where we will enjoy lunch at Govetts Leap overlooking the sandstone escarpments, sheer cliff walls and the deep canyons of the Grose Valley. Continue over the range towards Parkes, the closest town to the village of Trundle, where we will settle in for the next two nights.

Day 2 B

ABBAsolutely Fabulous Trundle by Train
Today we enjoy a leisurely start to the day before taking a step back in time. Ride the Lachlan Valley Railway's vintage train to the heart of the ABBA action. Enjoy the nostalgia of this vibrant community, dressed up in sequins, satin and flares. Make your moves in the disco dancing competition, see the Fashions of the Festival and the ABBAtastic markets held in the main street. Our coach will return after dinner for those not wanting to return on the late train, or alternatively, for those wishing to stay until the end of the festival, you can reboard the Festival Day Train at 10pm for the return journey to Parkes, arriving back around 11.30pm.

Day 3 B, L

Parkes - Home
After breakfast, we will make our way to Bathurst for morning tea. Continue on to Penrith for lunch where there will be many stories to share from this short break away. This afternoon, we will continue our journey home, with our Brisbane friends flying home from Sydney and the coach returning via the Central Coast to the Hunter.
