Day 1

Home - Adelaide
Your tour begins with a flight to Adelaide, where you will be met by our crew. Travel to Glenelg where you will have the opportunity to purchase your own lunch as you discover this seaside town. This afternoon we welcome onboard a local guide who will provide a comprehensive town tour of Adelaide before settling into our accommodation for the next five nights.

Day 2

Adelaide City Touring
Today we'll visit the Adelaide Central Markets before a visit to St Peters Cathedral. Our guide will highlight the historic stained glass windows and fascinating architecture. Next door is one of the most famous grounds in Australia. Take a tour of the hallowed Adelaide Cricket Oval, from the players and umpires room to the heritage score board. Enjoy a picnic lunch as we cruise the River Torrens (Karrawirra Parri), through the heart of this city, before visiting the Botanic Gardens. See how the plants in this English themed garden have adapted in one of the driest cities.

Day 3

Whispering Wall and Barossa Valley
This morning visit the Whispering Wall where words whispered on one side can be heard from the other end of the dam 140 metres away. Continue on to Barossa Chateau for a Devonshire Tea in the Barrel Room. Visit Mengler's Hill for photos of the valley, home to one of the key stages of the Tour Down Under cycle race. Explore the quaint village of Tanunda where you will have opportunity to purchase your own lunch, before stopping at Jacobs Creek Winery where the sweeping views of the vineyards and hills are stunning!

Day 4

Adelaide - Goolwa
Travel this morning to Goolwa, a popular holiday town situated on the last bend of the Murray River before it reaches open water. Board the Steam Ranger Heritage Railway for a ride around Encounter Bay on the Cockle Train. Travel from Goolwa to Victor Harbor along the south coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula. After leaving Goolwa behind, the train line heads off across the plains to Middleton, Port Elliot and the Encounter Bay Coast before climbing to the top of the coastal cliffs. Here you will experience some of the most picturesque coastal scenery on the Peninsula before arriving into Victor Harbor. Visit the Fleurieu Marine Education Centre where a guided tour will reveal some of its hidden secrets. Purchase your own lunch before visiting Granite Island for a guided tour and ride on the Horse Drawn Tram across the 630 metre wooden causeway.

Day 5

Mount Lofty - Botanic Gardens - Hahndorf
After breakfast we'll spend time in the Mount Lofty Botanic Gardens, located in the Adelaide Hills. Our next stop is the Mount Lofty Summit, offering panoramic views of the city. Continue on to Hahndorf, which is classified as Australia's oldest surviving German Settlement. Take time to wander the main street before enjoying lunch at The Hahndorf Old Mil. This afternoon, visit the Adelaide Zoo, one of Adelaide's most iconic attractions and home to the giant pandas Wang Wang and Fu Ni, Australia's only breeding Giant Panda's.

Day 6

Adelaide - Home
With a leisurely start to the day it is time to farewell Adelaide as we travel to Adelaide Airport for your flight home.
