Day 1 D
Home - Broome
Your flight to Broome via Perth will show you just how big our country is. Purchase your own lunch while in transit before arriving into Broome. See the sun setting over the Indian Ocean before checking into our accommodation.
Day 2 B, D
There is plenty to do in and around Broome. Today offers time to take optional tours and/or enjoy free time.

Day 3 B, L, D
Broome - Derby - Fitzroy Crossing
Today we make our way to Derby, stopping at the Prison Boab Tree, with a girth of 14.7m and believed to be 1500 years old. Located on King Sound, Derby has the highest ebb and flow tides in Australia and one of the highest tides in the world. After lunch continue on to Fitzroy Crossing for our overnight stay.
Day 4 B, L, D
Fitzroy Crossing - Halls Creek
Geikie Gorge is a Kimberley landmark carved from where the Fitzroy River cut into an ancient limestone reef over millions of years. Take a cruise through Geikie Gorge where we will see 350 million year old fossils among the layers of the surrounding rock walls. Its white limestone cliffs are eroded and bleached by regular flooding and the local wildlife includes freshwater crocodiles, sawfish and rock wallabies. Our journey then takes us to Fitzroy River Lodge, situated on the banks of the Fitzroy River. Take time to relax within acres of natural bush with shady trees and landscaped gardens while enjoying lunch, before heading to Halls Creek for our overnight stay.

Halls Creek - Argyle Diamond Mine - El Questro
Today we travel to the Argyle Diamond Mine. Please note that closed-in footwear must be worn today. The Argyle Diamond Mine is the world’s largest supplier of diamonds and they are found in a range of colours, including white, champagne and their signature pink stone. Be tempted to indulge yourself when you visit the village store. See the various diamond extraction and processing stages and experience mine life with lunch at the mine workers mess. After lunch, our journey takes us to Emma Gorge Resort, nestled in the shadow of the fiery red cliffs of El Questro’s Cockburn Ranges, where 60 luxury ensuited tented cabins blend seamlessly into the Australian wilderness, our overnight accommodation. Glamping at its finest.
Day 6 B, L, D
Emma Gorge - Kununurra
This morning visit Zebedee Springs so be sure to bring your swimwear along for a soak in these crystal clear springs. Next we take an awe- inspiring cruise along Chamberlain Gorge before making our way back to El Questro for lunch. This afternoon travel to Kununurra, where we will settle in for the next two nights.
Day 7 B, L, D
Kununurra - Bungle Bungles
Before breakfast, enjoy a two hour flight over the Bungle Bungles, Argyle Diamond Mine and Lake Argyle. From an aircraft it is an imposing sight to see the fascinating geological landscape of this remote region. Travel to Lake Argyle Resort for lunch before cruising from Lake Argyle to Kununurra along the Ord River where you can view the spectacular scenery, birdlife and animals, noting the changing colours on your return journey.
Day 8 B, L, D
Kununurra - Katherine
Today we cross the border into the Northern Territory, through Timber Creek and onto the Victoria River Roadhouse for lunch. Continue on to Katherine for our overnight stay.
Day 9 B, L, D
Katherine - Darwin
This morning we travel via Pine Creek, which first came to prominence during the building of the Overland Telegraph Line, on our way to Adelaide River. This small settlement was once the location for 30,000 Australian and American Soldiers in World War II. Our journey then takes us to Litchfield National Park where you’ll have the opportunity to soak up the natural surroundings of the Top End and perhaps take a swim at the Wangi Falls—so don’t forget your swimwear. This afternoon check into our Darwin accommodation before a spectacular dinner cruise on Darwin Harbour. As the sun sets, watch the sky light up in magical colours reflecting off the water and showcasing the coastline of Darwin; a real highlight!
Day 10 B
Darwin - Home
Visit the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, overlooking Fannie Bay in Darwin Harbour. The museum features the history, science and visual art of the region and its people, housing what is regarded as some of the best Aboriginal paintings and artefacts in the world. The complex also features a display depicting the experience and aftermath of Cyclone Tracy. Late morning we will make our way to the airport for your flight home where on arrival, your transfers will be arranged.
