Day 1 L, D
The Hunter – National Museum – Canberra
Depart the Hunter and Central Coast before stopping for morning tea. Continue on to Bowral for a picnic lunch in the beautiful shady Corbett Gardens. This afternoon, arrive in Canberra for a visit to The National Museum of Australia, where the displays preserve and interpret Australia’s social history, exploring the key issues, people and events that have shaped the nation.
Day 2 B
Canberra – ‘Matisse and Picasso’ – The Hunter
Spend time examining how the rivalry between Matisse and Picasso was not only key to their individual success, but also helped changed the course of 20th century Western European Art. Follow their creative developments and achievements across more than half a century from the time of their meeting in 1906. Feel free to explore the rest of the gallery and purchase
your own lunch before we make our way back to the Hunter, arriving late afternoon.
