Visit Grafton to celebrate the natural wonder of the countless avenues of Jacaranda trees that blanket the city, turning from green to purple, ready for the Jacaranda Festival. Go camera crazy as you photograph tree lined streets, resplendent in wonderful shades of a mauve and purple ‘carpet’. Another highlight of this tour is sure to be the spectacular scenery on offer as we travel along the Waterfall Way through Bellingen and Dorrigo.

Day 1
Brisbane - Ballina
Your tour begins today as you depart Brisbane and travel via the majestic Numinbah Valley, descending the border ranges with panoramic Rous Valley views. Enjoy lunch at the Murwillumbah Services Memorial Club, before continuing past Byron Bay, Lennox Heads and on to Ballina where we will settle in for our overnight stay.
Day 2
Ballina - Grafton - Coffs Harbour
Grafton at this time of year is ablaze with colour, where the superb Jacaranda trees line the avenues. The showy Jacarandas are some of the 5,000 different species of trees lining these avenues, creating an impressive canopy above and leaving a soft lilac carpet below. On arrival in Grafton, enjoy a guided tour of the Christ Church Anglican Cathedral along with a delicious morning tea. Take time to explore the markets and enjoy some free time before watching the Jacaranda Festival Parade. We then travel to Coffs Harbour for our overnight stay.
Day 3
Coffs Harbour - Armidale
Today we tour along the Waterfall Way. Meander through the lush emerald plains of the Bellinger Valley, reaching the township of Bellingen. Enjoy some free time here where you will have time to purchase morning tea. View Dangar Falls and enjoy a bird's eye view from the canopy top platform at the Dorrigo Rainforest Centre. Following lunch, our journey will take us through the New England World Heritage National Park and on to Armidale for our overnight stay.
Day 4
Armidale - Brisbane
Following a town tour of Armidale, we will travel via the New England Highway, passing through many beautiful towns, each with a unique story to tell. Stop for lunch in Stanthorpe before making our way back to Brisbane, where your transfers will be arranged.
