Our tour departs from Brisbane or Sydney. On arrival in Boston, we will be transferred to our hotel.

Day 2 B
Today will be at your leisure. Boston is one of America’s oldest and most historic cities and is a unique blend of traditional charm and contemporary vitality providing ample opportunities to explore. This evening we meet our Tour Director for a welcome drink and pre tour briefing.
Day 3 B, D
Boston - Portland - Bar Harbour
From Massachusetts, we head north via New Hampshire's shoreline and along Maine's rocky coast to Portland, one of New England's most famous cities. Stroll down the cobblestone streets of Portland’s Old Port Exchange, lined with many boutiques, coffee houses and art galleries. We will spend the night in Bar Harbour, Maine's oldest summer resort. Our dinner this evening is a traditional Lobster Bake featuring Maine lobster, steamed mussels and delicious corn on the cob.

Bar Harbour - Acadia National Park - Fredericton
Nowhere along the Atlantic seaboard is the rock-bound coast as picturesque as in Acadia National Park, one of America's most visited national parks. Take the scenic park road and enjoy the spectacular panorama from the summit of Cadillac Mountain. After time at leisure in Bar Harbour, we travel across the border to the capital of New Brunswick, Fredericton. Tonight, explore this culturally rich community by dining in the Historic Garrison District or strolling the St John River along the Riverfront Trail and across the Railway Bridge.

Fredericton - Saint John - Digby
This morning, return to the coast to Saint John and board a ferry to Digby, a popular summer resort. Our hotel tonight is the Digby Pines Resort, a world of casual elegance in the tradition of the grand hotels. Surrounded by breathtaking beauty, we will have an opportunity to enjoy the views, recreation, and internationally renowned cuisine in this Norman-style chateau. Before dinner this evening, enjoy a private demonstration by a local fisherman who will explain the importance of the Digby scallop and introduce us to Nova Scotian music. Later, dinner is included at the resort.

Day 6 B
Digby - Lunenburg - Peggy's Cove - Halifax
Today, we’ll travel toward Nova Scotia's Atlantic Coast and follow the winding shoreline to Lunenburg, one of the continent's major fishing ports and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, we’ll visit the Fisheries Museum before heading to Peggy's Cove, a charming fishing village with a famous lighthouse perched on a massive granite ledge (one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world). Complete the day in Halifax, the provincial capital and our home for the next two nights.

Day 7 B
Our city sightseeing tour with a Local Guide this morning includes a visit to Citadel Hill with its early 19th Century star shaped fort; the tree shaded walks of the public gardens; and the harbour area, which evokes the port's former strategic importance. You'll also see the Fairview Cemetery, final resting place for more than 100 people who perished on the ill-fated voyage of the Titanic.

Halifax - Jeddore Oyster Pond - Baddeck
Taking the scenic Marine Drive north along the Atlantic shoreline through picturesque fishing villages, stopping en route in Jeddore Oyster Pond at the Fisherman’s Life Museum, a typical Nova Scotia fisherman's house from the early 1900s. Via Canso Causeway, cross over to Cape Breton Island, one of the first footholds of European settlement in the New World. Continue to Baddeck.

Day 9 B, L
Baddeck - Cabot Trail
Today, drive along the Cabot Trail, the area explored by John Cabot in the late 15th century, while savouring magnificent vistas of the rocky shoreline and the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Enjoy a picnic lunch while admiring the scenery. Finally, see Cape Breton Highlands National Park at the northern tip of the island, a landscape that strikingly resembles Scottish coastal regions. Return to Baddeck for a tasting of delicious Nova Scotian wines.
Day 10 B
Baddeck - Caribou - Charlottetown
This morning, we visit the Alexander Graham Bell Museum with exhibits tracing the achievements of the great inventor who spent the last years of his life on Cape Breton. Afterwards, we head back to the peninsula and continue north to Caribou, where a ferry whisks us across the Northumberland Strait to Prince Edward Island. For the next two nights explore Charlottetown, the provincial capital. Get acquainted with this colonial town on a stroll down Great George Street and along the waterfront.
Day 11 B
Our morning is at our own pace and leisure. Enjoy a guided afternoon tour of the island that includes Prince Edward Island National Park. Also, visit Green Gables farmhouse, the setting for the famous novel Anne of Green Gables.
Day 12 B
Charlottetown - Fundy National Park - Saint Andrews By The Sea
Travel across the 8-mile (12.8 kilometres) Confederation Bridge to New Brunswick. Here, enjoy a guided visit of the Hopewell Rocks, giant formations carved by the Bay of Fundy's dramatic tides that rise and fall more than 50 feet (15 metres) each day, before driving through Fundy National Park. Tonight we’ll stay at the historic Algonquin Resort, overlooking Passamaquoddy Bay. This evening you may choose to visit the resort’s manicured gardens or the rooftop patio.

Saint Andrews By The Sea - Rockland
This morning we’ll enjoy a tour of Saint Andrews, one of New Brunswick’s oldest and most distinctive settlements. Journey through old growth forest and across sheltered coves and quiet fishing villages along the Maine coastline on the way to Rockland. This evening, our Tour Director hosts a special farewell dinner. Wonderful conversation and cuisine make the perfect finale for your holiday.
Day 14 B
Rockland - Boston
Depart this morning for Boston, pausing en route for a break in one of Maine's coastal towns. Arrive in the afternoon were we say goodbye to our Globus tour director. The rest of the day allows us to discover more of what Boston has to offer at our leisure and own expense.
Day 15 B
After breakfast we transfer to Boston Airport for our homeward flight.
On arrival into Australia and after clearing customs, we will be met at Brisbane or Sydney airport.
