Day 1 D
Home – Melbourne Zoo
Your flight arrives into Melbourne around noon, and you’ll have the opportunity to meet your fellow travellers and purchase your lunch. Our Melbourne experience begins at the Melbourne Zoo; modelled on the London Zoo it was opened in 1862, making it the oldest in Australia. Spend an afternoon exploring and see over 300 animals from all over the world. Later check into our hotel and relax over dinner.
Day 2 B, D
City Tour – Shopping – Melbourne Museum – Cakes, Sweets and Treats
Our day starts with a coach tour of the city, including Collins Street, the Botanic Gardens, Federation Square, MCG and Albert park. Travel to the best cake strip in Melbourne—Acland Street in St Kilda. Browse the many cake shop window displays and take the opportunity to indulge. Melbourne is known for its shopping and today we'll spend the day chasing a bargain or two. This afternoon continue your shopping at the factory outlets in Collingwood, or instead visit the Melbourne Museum for some history and a change of pace. This evening dine in Lygon Street, a famous food precinct before taking a stroll through this restaurant mecca.

Cooks Cottage - MCG Tour - Queen Victoria Markets
This morning come prepared with your walking shoes, as you start the day with a visit Fitzroy Gardens a well established garden on the edge of the Melbourne CBD for some freetime to explore before a visit to Cooks Cottage which originally stood on an extremity of the village of Great Ayton, Yorkshire. Transfer to the Recently renovated National Sports Museum with a behind the scenes tour of the Melboune Cricket Grounds. Purchase your own morning tea from the Café at the MCG. No tour of Melbourne is complete without a visit to the Iconic Queen Victoria Markets. This major landmark in Melbourne, is the largest open air market in the Southern Hemisphere and most intact surviving 19th century market in the city. While at the Markets purchase your own lunch. Later this afternoon you can enjoy some free time in Melbourne CBD. Ride the free trams through out the CBD. Explore a lane way or two, visit the Burke Street Mall or do a free tour of Parliament house which sits at the top of Burke Street on Spring Street. Perhaps even catch the Free City Circle Tourist Tram. Return to your motel for dinner.
Day 4 B
St Paul's Cathedral – National Victorian Gallery – Home
Visit St Paul’s Cathedral, a striking part of the Melbourne skyline. The foundation stone was laid in 1880 and the final steeple completed in 1932, at 312ft this was the highest building in Melbourne at the time. The National Gallery Victoria is renowned throughout the world. Enjoy a guided tour of the collection and purchase your lunch before our transfer to the airport for our flights home.
