Day 1 L, D

Home - Melbourne
After flying into Melbourne, you will be welcomed on board by our AAJ crew. Enjoy the beauty of the Royal Botanic Gardens where you will discover the rare and beautiful plants, breathtaking landscapes and iconic buildings. Next we visit the Shine of Remembrance for a guided tour, honouring those who have served in the country's armed forces. Late afternoon settle into our accommodation for the next 5 nights

Day 2 B, D

Brighton Bathing Boxes - Como House - St Kilda - National Sports Museum
There is so much to see in and around Melbourne and this morning we'll take the opportunity of doing some general sightseeing. Drive along the foreshore of Brighton and see the colourful bathing boxes before stopping at Como House, Melbourne's most glamorous stately home which was built in 1847, for a guided tour of the house and garden. Continue on to St Kilda where there will be time for you to purchase your own lunch before visiting the National Sports Museum at the MCG, showcasing a comprehensive collection of sporting history.

Day 3 B, D

Ultimate Foodie Tour - Eureka Skydeck - Tramcar Restaurant
Your day begins with a walking tour of Queen Victoria Market. Our Ultimate Foodie Tour guide will introduce us to some of the vendors, reveal the secrets to selecting the best seasonal produce and offer tastings of some of their favourites from the local region. You'll have time after the tour to browse the markets before we continue on to the Eureka Skydeck, the highest public observation deck in the southern hemisphere. Enjoy this birds eye view of Melbourne, Port Phillip Bay and as far as the Dandenong Ranges on a clear day. This evening, dine on the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant for a unique and unforgettable experience.

Melbourne International Flower Show
Today will stimulate your senses. Staged within the world heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building, the Melbourne International Flower Show is a celebration of the Australian lifestyle and our great outdoors. Featuring the best landscape and floral talent that Australia has to offer, there will be opportunity to view hundreds of exhibits ranging from ornamental horticulture, world-class flower growers selling their finest wares, professional landscapers, a vast array of exquisite floral features and demonstrations which will leave you spellbound

Day 5 B, L, D

Melbourne Zoo - Cooks Cottage and River Cruise
A visit to Melbourne would not be complete without seeing Melbourne Zoo. Explore the displays which include majestic Asian Elephants, sleek Sumatran Tigers and Orang-utans swinging through the trees. Next we travel to Fitzroy Gardens, home to Cooks' Cottage, the oldest building in Australia. Enjoy a guided heritage tour before stopping for a picnic lunch in these beautiful surrounds. This afternoon board our Melbourne City cruise which takes in the stunning waterfront views of the Melbourne skyline.

Day 6 B, L

Melbourne - Home
Take a guided tour of Old Melbourne Gaol, home to Melbourne's oldest prison, historic Magistrate's Court and former Police City Watch House. Most of Australia's infamous characters, including the iconic bushranger Ned Kelly and notorious gangster Squizzy Taylor, have spent time within these walls. Next, visit the Melbourne Museum which depicts life in Victoria, from our natural environment to our culture and history. Enjoy lunch before boarding your flight home where, on arrival, our staff will have your transfers arranged.
