Day 1

Home - Melbourne
After flying into Melbourne, you will be welcomed on board by our AAJ crew. Enjoy lunch before a visit to the Shine of Remembrance for a guided tour, honouring those who have served in the country's armed forces. Enjoy the beauty of the Royal Botanic Gardens where you will discover the rare and beautiful plants, breathtaking landscapes and iconic buildings before settling into our accommodation for the next five nights.

Day 2

Melbourne International Flower Show
Today will stimulate your senses. Staged within the world heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building, the Melbourne International Flower Show is a celebration of the Australian lifestyle and our great outdoors. Featuring the best landscape and floral talent that Australia has to offer, there will be opportunity to view hundreds of exhibits ranging from ornamental horticulture, world-class flower growers selling their finest wares, professional landscapers, a vast array of exquisite floral features and demonstrations which will leave you spellbound.

Day 3

Ultimate Foodie Tour - Eureka Skydeck - Lygon Street
Your day begins with a walking tour of Queen Victoria Market. Our Ultimate Foodie tour guide will introduce us to some of the vendors, reveal the secrets to selecting the best seasonal produce and offer tastings of some of their favourite things. There will be time after the tour to browse the markets before continuing on to the Eureka Skydeck, the highest public observation deck in the Southern Hemisphere. Enjoy this birds eye view of Melbourne, Port Phillip Bay and as far as the Dandenong Ranges on a clear day. This evening, dine in Melbourne's famous Lygon Street.

Day 4

Brighton Bathing Boxes - Rippon Lea - St Kilda - Sports Museum
There is so much to see in and around Melbourne and this morning we'll visit the National Sports Museum at the MCG, showcasing a comprehensive collection of sporting history. Next, take a drive along the foreshore of Brighton and see the colourful bathing boxes before stopping in St Kilda where there will be time for you to purchase your own lunch. This afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of Rippon Lea House and Garden, one of a Melbourne's heritage listed historic house and gardens before returning to our accommodation for dinner.

Day 5

Melbourne Gaol and Fitzroy Gardens
Take a guided tour of the Old Melbourne Gaol, which is home to Melbourne's oldest prison and sits alongside the historic Magistrate's Court and former Police City Watch House. Most of Australia's infamous characters, including the iconic bushranger Ned Kelly and notorious gangster Squizzy Taylor, have spent time within these walls. Next, travel to Fitzroy Gardens, home to the oldest building in Australia - Cooks' Cottage. This afternoon enjoy a cruise on the Yarra River as we meander past Melbourne's CBD and see one of the busiest trading ports in the Southern Hemisphere.

Day 6

Melbourne - Home
A visit to Melbourne would not be complete without seeing Melbourne Zoo. Explore the displays which include majestic Asian Elephants, sleek Sumatran Tigers and Orang-utans swinging through the trees. Enjoy lunch before boarding your flight home where, on arrival, our staff will have your transfers arranged.
