Home – Barra Farm – Buffet – Hunter Garden Lights – Maitland
Mid morning fights will see our arrival into the Hunter, our destination will be Take a guided tour of the world leading Barramundi Farm and meet 'Big Barry ‘who is over a meter long and weighs 22 kilos. Enjoy Australia's best Barramundi, prepared to perfection with the freshest local ingredients. Stretch your legs at the Regional botanical gardens. Checking into our hotel before temptation at the billabong buffet with a huge array of international delicacies to be enjoyed. Tonight we will be seeing over a million tiny Christmas lights engulf Hunter Valley Gardens at their annual Christmas Lights extravaganza. From the precision of the formal gardens, to the laughter and excitement of children’s nursery rhymes, each section is a wonder to behold. Join our group to avoid the lines at the entrance and enter into the Christmas Spirit.

Maitland – Petersons House – Putty Rd – Windsor
This morning learn of the finer points of Champagne from one of the countries leading sparkling winery with an opportunity to visit the chocolate shop next door. From here we join onto the Putty Rd and make our way via the edge of the Wollemi National Park. Arriving into Richmond, our hotel is still a little further on at Windsor, time this afternoon for a dip in the pool before dinner in the restaurant tonight.

Tobruk Sheep Station – Windsor
Visit Tobruk Sheep Station, an authentic working farm showcasing the history of shearing and the life of the shearer in both an educational and entertaining manner. Enjoy billy tea and damper for morning tea and see the sheep being mustered and moved to the stockyards, drafted by the dogs. For those wishing to have a go, there is opportunity to try whip cracking and boomerang throwing. Following a BBQ lunch, travel alongside the Hawkesbury River to Windsor for an afternoon of exploring this historic village.

Windsor – Penrith – NYE Cruise – Macquarie
Still following the Hawkesbury to Penrith and then Wallacia, morning tea and time to explore the Warragamba Dam interpretive center. The Penrith Museum of Fire displays the evolution of the NSW Fire Services from the early horse drawn ladders to the modern day fire retardant uniforms a great insight into and import part of our society. Indulge at the Buffet for lunch before arriving at our 4.5 star hotel for the next two nights. Tonight you will be ushering in the New Year on the Harbour. Join us for the ultimate experience of seeing the Sydney Harbour Bridge lit up with the biggest display of fireworks. Enjoy a two course buffet on board the Lady Kendall Vessel, as we cruise this majestic harbour for both the 9pm and midnight fireworks. A range of drinks will be available for purchase. Returning the short journey to our hotel, having experienced the ultimate.

New Years Day – Fish Markets – Rocks – Sydney Centrepoint Tower
The best way to start the year is in a relaxed fashion enjoy the sleep in as well as the hotel breakfast at a convenient time. Join the coach for an easy day starting at the Sydney Fish Markets for lunch then free time in the old Sydney Rocks, and a photo opportunity from Mrs Macquarie’s chair, returning to our hotel to freshen up before tonight’s dining experience. Taking your seat high above the city, watch as the evening comes alive, our Sydney Tower Restaurant is revolving every 90 minutes at almost 300m above the city, offering spectacular views of the harbour and city.

Sydney – Copeland Mine – Gloucester
Saying goodbye to the states capital, continuing north along the freeway to Thornton then taking the Buckets Way through Stroud one of the most important National Trust centres in NSW. This afternoon we arrive at the Mountain Maid Mine west of Gloucester at Copeland. First mined in 1857 then intermittently for the next 50 years. An interesting afternoon and who knows, keep your eyes peeled, you may just strike it rich.

Gloucester – Gostwyck – Saumerez House – Tenterfield
Climbing the range to the New England we will pass by the famous actress Ann Baxter’s farm, arriving into Walcha for morning tea amongst the town sculptures. As well as producing fine wool and fat lambs the New England is also famous for its deciduous trees and shrubs as seen in particular at the little Gostwyck Chapel covered in Virginia Creeper. Take a step back in time to 1888 when the JW Pender drawn house was started, the white family handed the property to national trust in 1984 with some rooms having been untouched for 50 years, lunch and a tour before arriving into Tenterfield for our last nights stay.

Tenterfield – Law Dogs – Home
Crossing into Qld our activities begin at Lawdogs Australia, the first privately owned training kennel that is open to the public to see puppies and adult dogs going through their law enforcement training, Lunch on top of the range before heading Brisbane, where our crew will have home transfers orgnaised etc.
