Day 1
Home – Norfolk Island
Home - Norfolk Island
Enjoy a friendly welcome to Norfolk Island before we transfer to our accommodation. Take time to settle in with some free time before enjoying a Island Progressive Dinner; a three course meal progressing to different island homes.
Day 2
Norfolk Island
Today we celebrate Bounty Day (or Anniversary Day). Transfer to Kingston to watch a longboat re-enactment with Pitcairners landing on Norfolk Island. Then enjoy a picnic feast among the historic ruins as arranged by Pinetree Tours. This evening enjoy dinner at our motel.
Day 3
Norfolk Island
This morning visit Cyclorama, an amazing, unusual attraction displaying one of only a handful of paintings of this type in the world. This afternoon, enjoy a Half Day Island Tour visiting historic Kingston, Cascade, Longridge and much more. See and hear about the famous convict buildings, beautiful beaches, golf course and Melanesian Chapel. Tonight you will dine at Hilli Restaurant.
Day 4
Norfolk Island
Today we travel to Anson Bay for our Behind the Hedges tour including a delicious morning tea. The remainder of the day is at your leisure before departing early evening for a typical Island Fish Fry with island dishes. Later view the Wonderland by Night Show, set amongst a magical setting of Norfolk Pines and bushland lit up like an enchanted forest.
Day 5
Norfolk Island
This morning we join the Greenfinger Tour featuring some of the island's gardens. Our local historian will give a talk on the area with a history dating back to 1788. This afternoon, visit Christian Brothers Cheese Company, a boutique dairy and cheese producer. This tour will take you through a local farm with beautiful ocean views. Meet the milk cows, try the milking machine, see the beehives and hear about producing the local honey. This afternoon experience the Convict Settlement Tour. Walk through the cemetery and hear the history of convict and colonial headstones, hear stories of the houses along Quality Row, walk through the ruins of the New Gaol and see the Pier Store, Boat Shed and the Crank Mill. This evening, with convict outfits supplied for Night as a Convict, you'll be 'transported' dressed as a convict to join the Commandant and Officers for a night of fun, gaiety, feasting and entertainment.
Day 6
Norfolk Island
The Breakfast Bush Walk is an enticing BBQ Brekkie on the spectacular headland overlooking Anson Bay. Later join the Indulgence Tour where we will visit Ball Bay before moving on to Steeles Point. From here, we head to the Captain Cook Monument, offering some of the best sea views on the Island. Finish the day with wine, cheese and crackers on Mount Pitt, taking in the 360° view of the whole island. Late afternoon, travel to the beautiful old Banyan Tree to enjoy the fabulous views as the sun sets before a delicious island style barbeque dinner. This evening, be entertained by the dramatic Sound 'n' Light Show in Kingston.
Day 7
Norfolk Island
Today is at your leisure. Enjoy some free time until departing for our Night with the Mutineers dinner, a new tour that will have you laughing, cheering and singing along with the talented descendants of the famous Mutiny on the Bounty.
Day 8
Norfolk Island – Home
Today it is time to bid farewell to our hosts and board your flight back home, taking time to reflect on the peaceful surrounds of Norfolk Island. On arrival and after clearing customs, your transfers will be arranged.
