Day 1 L, D
Home – Corbett Gardens – Fitzroy Falls – Goulburn
Take some time in Bowral’s Corbett Gardens for a picnic lunch surrounded by the gardens, as we make our way through the Southern Highlands before travelling to Fitzroy Falls. The scenery in this part of Australia will leave you in awe. View Fitzroy Falls, 82 metres above Kangaroo Valley, before arriving in Goulburn and your overnight accommodation.

Goulburn – Crookwell – Yass
The undulating tablelands surrounding Goulburn are most famous for wool production, however, the region is also dotted with many wind turbines. As we make our way to Crookwell, situated high on the Great Dividing Range 900m above sea level, stop at the viewing area for the Crookwell Wind Farm. This was the first grid connected wind farm in Australia. On arriva into Crookwell, a local guide will provide an overview of the history and modern day features of the town. Visit Lindner Sock Factory where you will discover how they make all of their socks right in the back of their store. Next visit St Bartholomew’s Anglican Church and enjoy the sounds of the largest digital pipe organ in the southern hemisphere.

Yass – Tumut
This morning we stop off at the Dog on the tucker box before continuing on to Adelong for a visit to the Adelong Alive Museum. The showcase in the museum is a model of the Reefer Battery and ore crushing mill - the remains of which are still visible at Adelong Falls. Arrive into Tumut where after lunch, we’ll visit the Information Centre and enjoy a guided town tour of this picturesque town. Take a tour of the Art Deco, fully functioning Montreal Theatre before settling into our accommodation.

Yarrangobilly Caves – Tumut Valley Violets and Micro Brewery
Today’s journey takes us to Talbingo situated on the shores of Jounama Pondage. Continue on to the Yarrangobilly Caves, located in the northern part of the Kosciuszko National Park where you will enjoy a guided tour of Jillabenan Cave - the smallest cave at Yarrangobilly. Travel through scenic dairy farming country for a visit to Tumut Valley Violets set in the grounds of the old Tumut Plains school house.

Tumut – Tumbarumba – Albury
This morning we will visit the the last original Millet Broom Factory in Australia and learn the secrets behind the art of handmade millet brooms - from growing the millet through to sewing the broom. Travel through Batlow, famous for apples but also peaches, nectarines and cherries. Continue on to Tumbarumba to see the Boggy Creek Show where all the skills of horsemanship, mustering, whip cracking, working dogs and sheep tricks with humour, a naughty kelpie and a stubborn mule are sure to amuse. Enjoy lunch at the Pioneer Women’s Hut. Recognised as being of National Significance, and as one of the most important and unique museums in Australia, our visit is sure to tell the tale of a bygone era, representing the everyday life of ordinary rural women. This afternoon travels will have us follow the New South Wales and Victorian Border into Albury for our overnight stay.

Albury – Benalla – Home
This morning as we farewell Albury-Wodonga and travel to Benalla stopping at the Botanical Gardens for Morning Tea and maybe even take the time to smell a rose or two in the rose Garden. Continue on to Melbourne for lunch before your flight home.
