Day 1

Brisbane – Batemans Bay
After your flight into Canberra and lunch, travel the Kings Highway through Bungendore to the heritage town of Braidwood. Nineteenth century architecture dominates the undulating
townscape, from workmen’s cottages to the larger public buildings. Enjoy some free time before we make our way to Batemans Bay for our four night stay.

Day 2

Batemans Bay
With a leisurely start today we make our way to the Birdland Animal Park, for delightful and intimate hands on experience. Purchase your own morning tea and stroll the landscaped gardens brimming with native Australian animals, birds and reptiles, or take a ride on the Birdland Express. The day continues with a cruise along the pristine waters of the Clyde River aboard the
MV ‘Merinda’. Enjoy fresh fish ‘n' chips as we pass oyster leases and natural bushland to the historical old port of Nelligen.

Day 3

Tilba Tilba – Bodalla
Following breakfast we’ll head south through the Eurobodalla Shire’s delightful countryside and hills carpeted in lush pastures. Travel via Moruya, Bodalla and Narooma to Tilba Tilba where we will visit the beautiful Foxglove Spires Gardens, with an essence of quaint English style elegance. Continue on to the ABC Cheese Factory, which has produced cheeses since 1891. Set against the magnificent backdrop of Mt Dromedary is Central Tilba—originally a gold mining settlement this National Heritage Listed village has been perfectly restored and maintained. This afternoon we’ll travel to the pretty village of Bodalla and visit the historic All Saints Anglican Church.

Day 4

Mogo
Begin your day with a leisurely drive to the privately owned Mogo Zoo, to see an amazing collection of endangered and exotic animal species, and boasting the largest collection of primates in Australia. At Mossy Point Lookout there will opportunity to photograph one of the best ocean views in the area. Purchase your own lunch before we head to Mogo Village, ‘the
Original Gold Rush Colony’, a reconstructed village depicting life in the Gold Rush days of the 1850s, built on 4.5 hectares of Australian bushland.

Day 5

Batemans Bay – Kiama
Leaving Batemans Bay, take a guided tour through the Lady Denman Heritage Complex where you will find the original Lady Denman Ferry which has been lovingly restored amongst a myriad of marine displays. Travel on to Nowra for a picnic lunch followed by a scenic cruise on the tranquil waters of the Shoalhaven River. This afternoon, travel through Kangaroo Valley, one of the state’s hidden gems, before continuing on via Robertson to the coast for your overnight stay in Kiama.

Day 6

Kiama – Brisbane
After breakfast, farewell this seaside holiday town and visit the famous Kiama Blowhole, discovered in 1797 by George Bass. Travel alongside the Pacific Ocean on the Great Pacific Drive towards Sydney. Enjoy a visit to the Hazelhurst Regional Gallery and Arts Centre, have lunch in Cronulla and continue through to the Sydney Airport ready for your flight back to Brisbane.
