Cross Country Tours and our holiday brand, All Australian Journeys, is a family-owned company providing day tours, Australian holiday tours, selected international tours and customised group charters. We specialise in holidays for the over 50s age group.
Our seniors coach tours travel to iconic Australian destinations as well as hidden gems and unique character destinations; our regularly changing tour selection also includes some of the most memorable cruise holidays, rail journeys and flights helping create unforgettable holiday experiences.
Our History and Experience
For over 40 years, Cross Country Tours has provided day and holiday tour options for the over 50’s. Originally started by Rev. John and Iris Gillingham in 1981, the company was purchased by the Gear family in 2000 and has continued to build the business on the foundation of family values and customer service.
In November 2016, the company expanded further with the purchase of All Australian Journeys and Northern Highland Travel, based in the Hunter Valley. Also a family-owned business with a 28-year history, this amalgamation has allowed us make memorable travel experiences even more accessible to customers across Australia.
