Day 1

Home - Adelaide - Port Augusta
Your tour begins with a flight to Adelaide, where your crew will be waiting to welcome you on board. Follow the Gulf of St Vincent and later the Spencer Gulf, travelling through some of South Australia's premier agriculture country. See the huge smelters of Port Pirie before arriving at the crossroad town of Port Augusta, so named because of the junction of the Eyre Highway to Perth, the Augusta Highway to Adelaide and the Stuart Highway to Darwin. Enjoy dinner tonight in a typical South Australian 1900s homestead, with its 3ft thick walls and 12ft high ceilings.
