Day 2

Gosford - Manly
Today our journey takes us to the very popular area of Manly. Once there, you can choose to do a return ferry ride to Circular Quay (own expense) or remain in Manly, taking time to stroll the shops and beach area. Purchase your own lunch before travelling via the Northern Beach suburbs of Mona Vale and Palm Beach back to Gosford, completing a spectacular day of touring.

Day 3

Riverboat Postman - Art Galleries
This morning we make our way to the Hawkesbury River town of Brooklyn to board the famous Riverboat Postman. Take in the beauty of the Lower Hawkesbury River as we deliver the mail and other essentials to the river-access-only settlements upriver from Brooklyn. The first Riverboat Postman started the run in 1910, and the tradition continues today. Travel back to Gosford for a visit to the gallery of the world-renowned, Australian landscape photographer, Ken Duncan, set in a purpose built facility surrounded by natural bush and landscape gardens. Later, visit the Gosford Regional Gallery and Edogawa Japanese Commemorative Garden before returning to our motel.

Day 4

Gosford - New Years Eve
This morning we visit Terrigal's Marine Discovery Centre before continuing on to the Australian Reptile Park, Australia's original hands-on zoo. Here you will learn about the lifesaving work the park does through its antivenom program and important conservation work saving Australia's wildlife through the charity Aussie Ark. Later, we stop at Somersby Falls recreation area before arriving back at our motel. This evening we will enjoy an early dinner before making our way to Gosford's waterfront precinct, to say goodbye to 2024 with a early fireworks display.

Day 5

Hunter Valley
Happy 2025! Today's touring takes us north towards the Lower Hunter Region, travelling through Cessnock to the historic district of Pokolbin. Visit the Hunter Valley Gardens, nestled amongst the foothills of the Brokenback Ranges, offering 60 acres of magnificent gardens including 10 individual feature gardens. A visit to this region would not be complete without stopping at a local winery. McGuigan Wines is one of the Hunter Valley's pioneering winemaking families, spanning over four generations and more than 100 years of winemaking. Enjoy a wine tasting before returning to our motel.

B, L, D

Day 6

Gosford - Coffs Harbour
Follow the Pacific Highway north amongst some of Australia's most beautiful scenery - rainforests and woodlands to the west and ocean glimpses to the east. Stop in the pretty seaside town of Port Macquarie for lunch before heading to Kempsey for a visit to the Slim Dusty Centre. Continue on to Coffs Harbour for our overnight stay.
