The Archibald Prize, first awarded in 1921, is Australia’s favourite art award, and one of the most prestigious. Awarded to the best portrait painting, it’s a who’s who of Australian culture – from politicians to celebrities, sporting heroes to artists. There will also be the opportunity to enjoy the other exhibits the gallery has to offer, and time to purchase your own lunch. Fare includes morning tea, entry and guided tour of the exhibit.
