Day 1
Home - Brisbane - Room with Roses
This Christmas we have returned to an old favourite for our Christmas in Brisbane City. Relax in the 4.5-star Royal on the Park, situated in the Brisbane CBD opposite the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens. Arriving at Royal on the Park, your crew will have your luggage stored before we board the City Loop bus. See the new casino amidst the heritage buildings before arriving at City Hall where we will enjoy a High Tea luncheon. Relax in the relaxed atmosphere of this magnificent building, before taking a stroll through Brisbane Arcade where the Christmas decorations are simply stunning and the interiors speak of a bygone era of shopping elegance and old-world charm. Having celebrated its centenary in 2024, this is the oldest shopping arcade in Brisbane. Return to our accommodation to settle in for the next three nights.
Day 2
Merry Christmas!
This morning there is opportunity for you to attend a Christmas church service or spend time relaxing at the hotel. Today we will enjoy a festive Christmas luncheon with lashings of sides and decadent desserts. Late afternoon you may like to join in on a walk through the Botanic Gardens before dinner. Tonight we will join back together for a light dinner, completing a special day.
Day 3
Boxing Day Cruise
Today is free for you to spend at your leisure. Perhaps attend the Boxing Day sales, or take time to discover one of Brisbane newest precincts - the Queens Wharf precinct with Sky Deck, casino and a variety of cafes and restaurants. Alternately, you may choose to relax by the pool at the hotel. This afternoon we will gather back together for a walk, making our way to board our vessel for a Brisbane River cruise. Relax as meander along the river, watching the sun set and the city lights begin to sparkle, while enjoying dinner onboard.
Day 4
Brisbane - Home
After a leisurely breakfast and perhaps a stroll along the river, it will be time to bid farewell to our hosts. Our staff will have your transfers arranged late morning after checking out.
