Garden Island Dockyard Heritage Tour
Today we visit Garden Island, located in Sydney Harbour, for a guided tour. Garden Island is home to the Royal Australian Navy's fleet of ships and a heritage centre that covers over 200 years of history from when the first fleet of convicts arrived in 1788, through to present day.
Today we visit Garden Island, located in Sydney Harbour, for a guided tour. Garden Island is home to the Royal Australian Navy’s fleet of ships and a heritage centre that covers over 200 years of history from when the first fleet of convicts arrived in 1788, through to present day. Visit historical buildings that are now over 100 years old and discover stories surrounding their history. Following the tour we will enjoy lunch before returning home. Fare includes morning tea, tour and lunch. Please note this tour is not suitable for those with mobility issues due to the amount of walking and stairs.
