Day 1

Home - Morpeth - Muswellbrook
Our tour begins with our Queensland passengers flying from Brisbane into Newcastle Airport, where they will join our crew and New South Wales passengers. Once all onboard, we will visit the classified National Trust historic town of Morpeth, located on the Hunter River, where a local guide will provide a locals perspective to this historic town. Stop at the Morpeth Museum located in the historic Courthouse, with exhibits from local family history to specific industries from the area and take the opportunity to sit in the judges chair and pass sentence or stand in the dock and confess your crimes. After some free time in town to explore the boutique shops and purchase your own lunch, we continue on to Muswellbrook, to settle in for the next four nights.

Day 2

Upper Hunter Touring
Today we spend the day with a local guide who will take is to some state-of-the-art equine facilities located in the Upper Hunter on an 'Insiders Tour' of the thoroughbred industry. We will visit two Thoroughbred Horse Studs both owned by the Ruler of Dubai. We will also visit the Scone Racecourse, the best race facility in country New South Wales. Later, see Glenbawn Dam, the water supply to the Hunter Valley, and enjoy lunch at a local hotel.

Day 3

King of the Ranges
After breakfast, travel to Murrurundi, a rural town in the foothills of the Liverpool Ranges, for The King of the Ranges. Enjoy the billy boiling competition, the kids billy goat cart races, bush poetry and yarn spinning, bush markets, junior whip cracking competitions, camp oven cook offs, working dog and heavy horse displays, and so much more. Purchase your own morning tea and lunch at the festival before visiting Hunter Warbirds, for a Highlights Tour of the purpose built facility.

Day 4

King of the Ranges
This morning we'll travel back to Murrurundi for the final day of King of the Ranges. There will be excitement in the air today for the finals will be on. Purchase your own morning tea and lunch and see the Thoroughbred Training Challenge, the Ladies Wild Horse Catch and the Open Stock Saddle Buckjump. At the conclusion of the festival, return to Muswellbrook for dinner.

Day 5

Muswellbrook - Home
It's time to farewell our hosts before taking time to discover a little of this town of Muswellbrook. The area is steeped in history and supports industries such as agriculture, vinticulture, equine, power generation and coal mining. The region is also known for producing award winning wine, olives, and delicious cheeses. Enjoy a visit to Hunter Belle Cheese and Pukara Estate Olives before making our way back to Newcastle Airport where our Queensland passengers will board their flight home and our crew will have the transfers arranged for our New South Wales passengers.
