Pre Christmas On The Granite Belt

Day 1

Brisbane - Stanthorpe
Our tour begins as we make our way to Toowoomba, for a visit to the Bush Christmas Exhibition. This annual celebration of outback creative talent aims to bring the very best of the rurual and regional areas to a large gallery-style exhibition in the lead up to Christmas. After lunch, continue across the Darling Downs, to arrive at our accommodation on the outskirts of Stanthorpe for the next two nights. Learn about the crafting of the Granite Belt Breweries hand crafted beers and ciders that are bottled on site in the microbrewery before settling into our rooms.

Day 2

Stanthorpe Day
Following breakfast and a town tour of Stanthorpe, take some time to wander the main street and purchase your own morning tea. The remainder of the day we will visit unique producers of the Granite Belt. At the Truffle Discovery Centre learn about all things truffle, including the training of truffle detection dogs. Stop at Castle Glen Australia, producers of wines, liqueurs, spirits, beer and cider and even some soft drinks. There will be opportunity to purchase a bottle or two as gift if you choose. The Big Apple and Vincenzos will be our lunch stop today. Browse the gourmet products on offer at the deli and gift shop. This afternoon we will visit Stanthorpe Cheese and then Suttons Juice Factory, where no visit is complete without a slice of their amazing apple pie. Return to your motel with time to freshen up before dinner.

Day 3

Stanthorpe - Warwick - Brisbane
After a relaxed breakfast we farewell our hosts and visit the Washpool Supply Company's Soaperie and Store where the Artisans produce their range of soap, skin care and healthy home produces onsite. Continue on to The Mistletoe Store at Granite Belt Christmas Farm, which has been making spirits bright since 2017. See over 20,000 of the most spectacular Christmas Decorations, ornaments and vintage collectables sourced from around the world. You are sure to find the ultimate Christmas decoration or accessory. Learn about the farm and the fresh Christmas trees as you enjoy morning tea in Mrs Claus' Kitchen. Before leaving the Granite Belt, we'll make a quick fruit stop for guaranteed local summer fruit that's come straight from local farms at Sam's Fresh Fruit and Vegetables, before making our way back to Warwick, where their roses will be blooming beautifully. Enjoy lunch at a local club before we make our way back into Brisbane where your transfers will be arranged.
