Smooth Sailing Into Christmas

Day 1

Brisbane - Ballina - Coffs Harbour
Your Christmas getaway begins as we travel through the lush Northern Rivers countryside, stopping for morning tea and lunch along the way. Our journey continues south via Big River Country through Grafton before arriving in Coffs Harbour for our overnight stay.

Day 2

Coffs Harbour - Newcastle - Sydney
Enjoy travelling on a varied route today via highways and scenic coastal roads, with a lunch stop at the popular holiday area of Forster Tuncurry, situated at the northern tip of the Great Lakes area. The twin townships are surrounded by National Parks and feature majestic headlands and long secluded beaches. Continue on via Newcastle where we will meet our Hunter passengers, before crossing the Hawkesbury River into Sydney. Settle in for the next three nights at our centrally located hotel.

Day 3

Merry Christmas!
For those who wish to attend a morning church service, your Coach Captain and Hostess will assist with your transport. Alternatively, enjoy a relaxed morning before we depart to discover some of Sydney's northern beaches via Palm Beach, Warriewood, Dee Why, Curl Curl, Manly and North Head. Travel in to the heart of Sydney to celebrate Christmas lunch with an amazing view of Sydney and the harbour from the Sydney Tower Restaurant. This afternoon, visit Mrs Macquarie's Chair and see some of Sydney's iconic buildings as we make our way back to our accommodation for a light dinner.

Day 4

Sydney Harbour Cruise
It's Boxing Day and in Sydney that means the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race. Enjoy a walk around Darling Harbour taking time to purchase your own morning tea, before boarding the All Occasion Cruises vessel for a spectacular day on Sydney Harbour and the start of the big race. Enjoy a prawn and cold meat buffet lunch on board, taking in the fantastic views of the yachts as they jockey for position prior to the starter's gun.

Day 5

Sydney - Lake Macquarie - Armidale
Today we bid farewell to the Harbour City, as we travel north to Pelican on the edge of beautiful Lake Macquarie. Our Hunter passengers will depart here, before our journey takes us via Thunderbolts Way, arriving onto the New England Tablelands for our overnight stay in Armidale.

Day 6

Armidale - Brisbane
After breakfast we travel via Guyra and Glen Innes, stopping for a cuppa along the way. Continue on from Tenterfield's Boulder Country to Queensland's Granite Belt, where the New England Highway passes through small towns and picturesque landscape, before arriving in Warwick for lunch. This afternoon, arrive back in Brisbane, where your crew will have your transfers arranged.
