Day 1
Brisbane - Casino - Tenterfield
Today is the start of a lovely short break away. Join fellow travellers as we head towards the Richmond Valley in Northern New South Wales where we'll enjoy lunch at Casino's Windara Nursery. Later, traverse the Bruxner Highway via Mallanganee and Tabulam before turning on to the New England Highway to arrive in Tenterfield to stay for the next two nights.
Day 2
Australian Celtic Festival
Be in awe of the spectacular autumn tints as you join in with the Australian Celtic Festival hijinks in Glen Innes. Each year the festival celebrates one of the Celtic nations and 2026 will honour "The Year of Scotland" celebrating and attracting clans, national groups, pipe bands, dancers, artists and spectators from across Australia and abroad. Set amongst the unique granite monoliths known as the Australian Standing Stones, each stands 3.7 metres above ground and are the National Monument to the Celtic descendants and clans of Australia. Enjoy the festival and take time to purchase your own morning tea and lunch from the many food outlets available. Return to your motel for dinner.
Day 3
Tenterfield - Brisbane
After breakfast, enjoy a guided town tour of Tenterfield before continuing on through Stanthorpe. This afternoon, stop in Warwick for lunch, before making our way back to Brisbane, where our staff will have your transfers arranged.
