Christmas Cheer Mid Year In Dorrigo

Day 1

Brisbane - Dorrigo
Travel via the scenic Northern Rivers to Ballina on the Richmond River. Continue on via Grafton before arriving into the township of Dorrigo where a warm welcome awaits at Lookout Mountain Retreat. Spread across an expansive 17 acres of pastoral land and perfectly positioned on the edge of the escarpment of the Dorrigo Plateau, the first thing that will strike you about the property is the picturesque mountain, valley and ocean views. Settle in for the next three nights before enjoying dinner together.

Day 2

Dorrigo - Bonville
Today enjoy a beautiful drive along the Waterfall Way, stopping at Ebor Falls and Dangar Falls. Visit the Dorrigo Rainforest Centre and take in the bird's eye view from the canopy top platform before continuing on to Bonville. This afternoon, ensure that you are wearing your bright colours to attract the butterflies at The Butterfly House where you will enjoy lunch and have the opportunity to be 'kissed' by these radiant creatures. Return to your motel for some freetime before joining together for dinner.

Day 3

Bowraville - Macksville
This morning travel to Taylors Arm for a visit to Perry's Lemon Myrtle Plantation. Continue on to Macksville for a visit to Mary Boulton's Pioneer Cottage before lunch at a local hotel. This afternoon visit the Bowraville Folk Museum and the Frank Partridge VC Military Museum before returning to the motel for our Yuletide Dinner.

Day 4

Dorrigo - Brisbane
After farewelling our hosts, sit back and admire the passing countryside as we traverse the Summerland Way through the Richmond Valley countryside. From Casino, travel to Lismore for lunch before continuing on to Brisbane where on arrival, your crew will have your transfers arranged.
