Day 1
Brisbane - Gold Coast
This morning we travel via Beaudesert, stopping for a Devonshire morning tea at the Community Information and Arts Centre. Our journey then continues on through Scenic Rim landscapes to the quaint village of Canungra. Take time to explore some of the boutique shops and local galleries before making our way to the Canungra Valley for a visit to O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyards with its 165 year old homestead 'Killowen', offering views overlooking lush vineyards and peaceful mountain surrounds - a perfect setting for lunch today. This afternoon, arrive in Coolangatta, to settle into our accommodation for the next two nights.
Day 2
Tropical Fruit World - Flutterbies
After breakfast, we'll visit Tropical Fruit World, a 200-acre paradise bursting with exotic flavours. Here, you'll tour lush orchards, discover rare and unusual fruits from around the globe, and enjoy guided tastings that showcase the region's incredible produce. We will then wind our way inland through the Tweed Valley toward the charming village of Tyalgum, where rolling countryside slowly gives way to rainforestclad hills and winding country roads. In the picturesque foothills of Mt Warning, we'll find Flutterbies Cottage, where we'll be treated to real country hospitality and lunch served in vintage crockery on tables adorned with French linen. This afternoon, continue our scenic drive to Murwillumbah, before following alongside the Tweed River north to the golden beaches and coastal skyline of Coolangatta, where there will be time to freshen up before dinner.
Day 3
Gold Coast - Cruise - Brisbane
This morning, your coach will take you to board the Lady Brisbane, for a unique full day cruise from the Gold Coast back to Brisbane. Enjoy morning tea, BBQ lunch and afternoon tea on board as we make our way north through some of the 300 hundred islands that make up Moreton Bay. Admire the beautiful clear waters and be sure to keep an eye out for dolphins, dugongs, rays, turtles and sea eagles. On arrival back to Brisbane, your Coach Captain will be there to welcome, and your transfers will be arranged.
