Day 1

Brisbane - Goondiwindi
Traverse the Great Dividing Range, and enjoy a cuppa in Toowoomba before crossing the Darling Downs through Millmerran to Texas. Perched on the banks of the Dumaresqi River, this historical town is surrounded by rural landscape dotted with old tobacco barns, wineries and orchards. After lunch we visit the Texas Rabbit Works to discover the story of the industry that saved the region during the Great Depression years. This afternoon, travel via the New South Wales towns of Yetman and Boggabilla before arriving into Goondiwindi for our two night stay.

Day 2

Goondiwindi
Take a 'behind the scenes' look at Goondiwindi's cotton industry. Experience the workings of a cotton farm through the production chain from the paddock to the finished garment. Visit the Heritage Water Park and see an interesting display of memorabilia at the Victoria Hotel where we'll also enjoy lunch. This afternoon, visit the authentically restored Customs House Museum and cottage garden. Continue on to the Holy Trinity Anglican Church to view 26 stained glass windows including 13 by the famous glass artist, William Bustard.

Day 3

Goondiwindi - Brisbane
Today we travel to Yelarbon to see the spectacular painted silos which form part of the Australian Silo Art Trail. After morning tea in Inglewood, travel to Warwick for lunch before returning to Brisbane, where your transfers will be arranged.
