Day 1
Brisbane - Goondiwindi
Traverse the Great Dividing Range, crossing the Darling Downs to Cecil Plains Homestead on the banks of the Condamine River. Enjoy an inspection, tour and tasty homestyle lunch before continuing on to Millmerran where we will see the historical mural series around the town. This afternoon, arrive in Goondiwindi for our two night stay.
Day 2
GoondiwindI
Take a 'behind the scenes' look at Goondiwindi's cotton industry. Experience the workings of a cotton farm through the production chain from the paddock to the finished garment. Visit the Heritage Water Park and see an interesting display of memorabilia at the Victoria Hotel where we will also enjoy lunch. This afternoon, visit the authentically restored Customs House Museum and cottage garden. Continue on to the Holy Trinity Anglican Church to view 26 stained glass windows including 13 by the famous glass artist, William Bustard.
Day 3
Goondiwindi - Brisbane
Today we travel to Yelarbon to see the spectacular painted silos which form part of the Australian Art Silo Trail. After morning tea in Inglewood, travel to Warwick for lunch. This afternoon, our journey takes us back into Brisbane, where your transfers will be arranged.
