Kabloom is an autumn festival located at the Tesselaar Flower Farm in the gorgeous Dandenong Ranges. Be in awe of the fields bursting with colour created by the sea of over a million flowers. Day 1

Home - Melbourne
Begin with a flight to Melbourne where you will be meet by our friendly crew. Enjoy lunch before making our way to the Old Melbourne Gaol for a guided tour of this historic site. This afternoon, settle into our accommodation for the next five nights, with time to freshen up before dinner.

Day 2

Rayners Orchard - KaBloom Festival
Today we travel to the Yarra Valley for a visit to Rayner's Orchard. This family run boutique fruit orchard grows over 450 varieties of fruit with every season having different fruit on offer. We then continue on to the KaBloom Flower Festival, where you will be amazed by the spectacular sight of this large scale flower farm. Take a ride on the tractor train which will provide an informative commentary about the farm's history and how the flowers are grown and cared for. Along with the more formal planting, there are also wildflower meadows with paths for walking amongst the blooms. Take time to purchase your own lunch today while enjoying the entertainment at the festival, and be sure to browse the nursery, lolly shop, souvenir shop and flower market filled with beautiful bunches of locally grown blooms.

Day 3

Brighton Bathing Boxes - Cruden Farm - Cranbourne
After breakfast, we visit the iconic Brighton Bathing Boxes, painted in colourful hues and standing on Brighton Beach looking out into Port Phillip Bay. Next, enjoy a guided tour of Cruden Farm and Garden. Learn of Dame Elisabeth Murdoch's labour of love for this property gifted to her as a wedding present from her husband. After lunch, visit the Royal Botanic Gardens, an award winning, contemporary garden at Cranbourne. Take a guided tour of the Australian Garden, consisting of over 100,000 plants from 19,000 plant varieties in 300 hectare of native bushland.

Day 4

Queen Victoria Markets - Free Day
Today there will be free time to explore this vibrant city. Begin with a visit to the Queen Victoria Markets, a historic landmark spread over two city blocks. Purchase your own morning tea and lunch and perhaps take time to ride the City Circle Tram, serviced by heritage W class trams, providing an informative commentary along the way. This afternoon, stop at the Melbourne Museum located in Carlton Gardens, to discover some of the natural and cultural history of Melbourne before returning to our accommodation for dinner.

Day 5

Puffing Billy and Heide Museum
Today we take a journey on the famous Puffing Billy Railway. The line was built in 1900 to serve the local communities that lived in the hills, carrying anything from passengers to timber, livestock, potatoes and plants. Travel over the iconic Trestle Bridge and through the magnificent Dandenong Ranges, arriving in Lakeside where you will have time to explore the Emerald Park Precinct, overlooking Lake Treganowan. Take time to purchase your own lunch at the café and to browse the art exhibition before reboarding the train for our return journey. This afternoon, explore the Heide Museum of Modern Art where there will be opportunity to discover the public art museum and sculpture park located on a stretch of the Yarra River.

Day 6

Melbourne - Home
This morning we travel to the outskirts of Melbourne for a visit to Werribee Park, an estate built on the wealth of an Australian pastoral empire. Enjoy morning tea in the Victorian State Rose Garden, where there are more than 5,000 rose bushes planted, before taking a guided tour of this heritage-listed mansion. Later we will make our way to Melbourne Airport where our staff will assist with your check-in ready for your flight home.
