Day 1

Home - Fremantle
Your tour begins with a flight to Perth, where on arrival, you will be welcomed on board by your crew. Enjoy a short town tour before making our way to Fremantle, settling into our accommodation which is just a short walk from the marina.

Day 2

Rottnest Island
After breakfast, take a short ferry ride from the mainland to Rottnest Island. Enjoy a guided tour of the island, highlighting its fascinating history and culture. Visit Wadjemup Lighthouse, Henrietta Rocks and Oliver Hill Gun Fortification and Tunnels. Admire the breathtaking views from Cathedral Rocks and Cape Vlamingh viewing platforms, and watch for whales and seals frolicking in the open waters. If you're lucky, we may even spot a Quokka today while we're on the island.

Day 3

Fremantle - Cervantes
Travel northward to Cervantes via the Swan Valley, studded with orchards and vineyards. Patches of wildflowers decorate the side of the road, made up of Lambs Tails, Smoke Bush, Grevilleas and Kangaroo Paw. Visit New Norcia, a piece of old Spain built in the Western Australian bush by Spanish Benedictine Monks. Continue on to see the Pinnacles in Nambung National Park, made up of thousands of huge limestone pillars rising from a stark landscape of yellow sand to form one of Australia's most intriguing landscapes. As we make our way to Cervantes, stop at Lake Thetis to view the stromatolites, the oldest 'living' fossil in the world before checking into our accommodation.

Day 4

Cervantes - Kalbarri
Today our journey takes us along Western Australia's stunning Coral Coast, offering a mix of charming small towns and spectacular scenery. Pass through Port Denison and Dongara, one of the largest and most productive fishing regions in Western Australia, and see the National Trust classified town of Greenough. Stop in Geraldton for a picnic lunch before visiting St Francis Xavier Cathedral which is as magnificent on the inside as it looks from the outside. Continue north via Northhampton before arriving into Kalbarri for the next two nights.

Day 5

Kalbarri National Park
Visit Kalbarri National Park, famous for its brilliant display of heath and wildflowers. From Hawks Head Lookout there are spectacular views over the Murchison Gorge. This morning we will explore some of the surrounds of the lower reaches of the Murchison River, which has cut a magnificent 80km gorge through the red and white banded sandstone to create formations such as Nature's Window and The Loop. Visit the Kalbarri Skywalk perched high above the Murchison Gorge. As you venture out, you will be in awe of the incredible views of the spectacular gorge and the surrounding area of Kalbarri National Park. There will also be opportunity to see some of the stunning wildflowers today. Return to your motel before dinner.

Day 6

Kalbarri - Geraldton
This morning we traverse the Coral Coast Highway to Port Gregory, stopping at Pink Lake to the admire this natural phenomenon. The waters of Hutt Lagoon can be an extraordinary sight with the high levels of salinity giving the lagoon its unusual hue. This area is also known to be blanketed with wildflowers at this time of year. Continue back to Geraldton to enjoy lunch prior to a visit to the Museum of Geraldton, celebrating the rich heritage of the land, sea and people of the Mid-West region. A guided tour of the Shipwrecks Gallery will allow you discover the regions fascinating maritime history. Later, a guide will come onboard our coach for a town tour, stopping at the HMAS Sydney II Memorial.

Day 7

Geraldton - Fremantle
Today our journey ventures along part of the Inland Wildflower Trail, travelling via rolling farmland and granite outcrops, through the townships of Mingenew and Moora. The scenery today will be a patchwork of vibrant colour, with wildflowers lining the side of the road as we go in search for the elusive Wreath Flower and other natural floral displays. There are sure to be plenty of photo opportunities as we make our way back to Fremantle.

Day 8

Fremantle - Home
Following breakfast, it's time to farewell Fremantle, and Western Australia as we make our way to Perth Airport, ready for our flight home.
