Day 1

Brisbane - Warwick
Journey via the Cunningham Highway, and at Spicers Gap, enter the Southern Downs area displaying rich fertile farmlands and the rolling hills of the Great Dividing Range. Stop at Bestbrook Mountain Resort and be treated to warm country hospitality and a taste of authentic station life. After lunch, continue on to Warwick, where you'll see the town's heritage buildings and hear stories of the Southern Downs' rich pioneering history during a locally guided town tour. This afternoon, settle into our accommodation for the next two nights.

Day 2

Warwick - Stanthorpe - Zoofari
This morning, enjoy a leisurely morning before visiting Suttons Juices and Shed Café for an introductory talk on the orchard followed by morning tea including their famous Apple Pie! We then enjoy some free time in Stanthorpe before a visit to Varias, a state-of-the-art education and training facility, for an inspection and wine tasting. Return to our motel with time to freshen up before tonight's adventure. The Darling Downs Zoofari Night Tour allows you to experience the zoo as it comes alive at night. Enjoy a BBQ dinner while listening to the evening calls of the animals. We then take a guided tour by torchlight before returning to our accommodation.

Day 3

Warwick - Allora - Brisbane
Today we visit Allora, known as 'The Best Little Town on the Downs'. With a population of less than 1000, Allora has a strong sense of history, with an old-time charming streetscape, heritage buildings and memorials. Enjoy a locally guided tour, museum visits, morning tea and lunch before farewelling the Southern Downs. This afternoon, on arrival back into Brisbane, your crew will have your transfers arranged.
