This short break away gives you the opportunity to experience a small part of a quirky winter festival that is held each year in Warwick. The Jumpers and Jazz in July Festival began in 2004 and is an art and jazz musical festival that embraces the winter season by transforming the CBD into a living gallery with artwork installed on the bare winter trees and musicians performing Dixieland, Swing and mainstream Jazz.

Day 2
Jumpers and Jazz Festival - Glengallan Homestead - Historical Museum
Crisp winter mornings offer the perfect opportunity for you to experience the Jumpers and Jazz Festival. The heart of the festival is a kooky outdoor art exhibition, where trees in the main street and beyond are decorated with textiles and fibres, 'dressed in woolly jumpers', to keep out the chilly air. Your morning is free for you to wander and see all that the festival has to offer. Later we will visit Glengallan Homestead and Heritage Centre where we will enjoy lunch in the café before a guided tour of the property, built from 1864 to 1904. Restored from ruins in 2001, the iconic Glengallan House sandstone mansion is a unique heritage experience. Return to Warwick were a local guide joins us for a town tour and a visit to the Historical Museum. Return to our motel to freshen up before dinner.
Day 3
Darling Downs Zoo - Brisbane
It's time to farewell Warwick as we commence the journey back to Brisbane. Visit the Darling Downs Zoo, situated in a tranquil rural setting on Queensland's beautiful eastern Darling Downs. You will be impressed by the vast array of animal life which are housed and displayed here. Following the feeding of the Marmosets, enjoy lunch before traversing the Toowoomba Bypass offering magnificent views over the Lockyer Valley. Take time to say your farewells before arriving back to Brisbane where your transfers will be arranged.
