An unforgettable adventure is an apt description for our Larc and 1770 tour. Explore this beautiful area by land and sea on board the unique, pink, amphibious vehicle - The ‘LARC’. This award-winning day tour will take in the most amazing unspoilt coastal estuaries, steep sand hills and pristine creeks including Jenny Lind below Bustard Head with its sentinel lighthouse. Travel to Miriam Vale on Queensland's Tilt Train, returning by coach to Brisbane.

Day 1

Brisbane - Tilt Train - Bororen
Travel by Tilt Train today through the scenic Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay areas, before arriving in Miriam Vale. A trolley service is available to your seat or you may choose to buy snacks, lunch and drinks from the Galley. On arrival into Miriam Vale, our crew will be waiting to welcome you onboard, before travelling to Bororen, to settle in for the next three nights.

Day 2

Larc Day
Today we board the brightly painted Larc V 'Sir Joseph Banks' for a full day of fun and adventure. Journey over vast sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters to explore the unspoilt coastline to Bustard Head Lighthouse. Enjoy morning tea, picnic lunch and billy tea beneath a canopy of shady trees before making our way back to our accommodation for dinner.

Day 3

Agnes Water - 1770
This morning we travel to the Town of 1770 to spend time discovering some of the unique aspects of the area. There will also be opportunity to do some short walks, so be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. Later, visit the Agnes Water Museum, which highlights the fascinating history and culture of the local area. There will also be time to browse the display of journals, logs, charts and memorabilia celebrating the landing of Captain Cook. This afternoon, stroll along the waterfront and purchase your own lunch from one of the cafes in the main street, before returning to Bororen.

Day 4

Agnes Water - Brisbane
After breakfast, it's time to farewell our hosts and travel via Apple Tree Creek to Gympie. After lunch continue back into Brisbane where your transfers will be arranged.
