Day 3

Gardens, Gardens and more Gardens
After breakfast, visit Gory'u Japanese Gardens where you'll experience a little piece of Japan in the picturesque Hartley Valley. This Karesansui, or dry landscape garden, offers all the elements of a true Japanese garden. Next stop is Highfields Gardens, a beautiful garden with a variety of garden types within the larger garden. The single-coloured flower boarders of Peonies, roses and Iris are sure to impress. This afternoon we'll travel to Oberon, for a visit to Mayfield Gardens - Australia's largest privately owned garden. Established in 1990 by the Hawkins family, it's designed along the lines of the traditional English country garden style. Return to our accommodation with time to freshen up before dinner.

Day 4

Everglades - Wentworth Falls - Katoomba
This morning we'll stop at Govett's Leap Lookout, offering stunning views of the Grose Valley and Bridal Veil Falls, and then on to Wentworth Falls Lookout for magnificent views of the Jamison Valley. Continue to Everglades House and Gardens, a stunning heritage residence surrounded by gracefully designed gardens and natural scenery. Afterwards, take time to purchase your own lunch before taking in the stunning views of the iconic Three Sisters from Echo Point. Day 5

Botanic Gardens - Windyridge - Bebeah Gardens
Our day begins with a visit to the Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens at Mount Tomah. Showcasing local and imported cool climate plants alongside the alpine rainforest, they are the highest botanic gardens in Australia. Continue on to Mount Wilson, known for its historic homes and grand exotic cool climate gardens. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Windyridge, where the owner collects, propagates and sells plants appropriate for this elevated climate. Later, stop at Bebeah Gardens, a formal country garden estate with a grand sense of design, and then Breenhold Gardens, offering over 40 hectares of heritage listed gardens and parklands.

Today we farewell our hosts, before travelling to the Norman Lindsay Gallery.
